The association aims to promote and develop sustainable transport and active mobility in Poland, enhance the quality of life in member cities and municipalities, and support the idea of local self-government.
The association creates and comprehensively implements initiatives related to the promotion and development of sustainable transport and active mobility, best practices in shaping public spaces, and improving residents' quality of life. It enables members to participate in national and international projects, exchange best practices, and access expert knowledge.
By connecting Polish local governments with foreign partners, the association creates excellent conditions for implementing initiatives based on the latest global experiences in sustainable development.
Who we are?
The Polish Union of Active Mobility is a cooperation platform aimed at supporting initiatives to improve the quality of life in member cities and municipalities by developing modern and environmentally friendly urban transport systems.
The Polish Union of Active Mobility (PUMA) is a nationwide local government association, initiated with the signing of the Gdansk Active Mobility Charter in 2010.
Solving transportation issues is one of the most significant challenges facing Polish local governments.
