Solving transportation issues is one of the most significant challenges facing Polish local governments.
The Polish Union of Active Mobility is a cooperation platform aimed at supporting initiatives to improve the quality of life in member cities and municipalities by developing modern and environmentally friendly urban transport systems.
Our activities
We initiate actions to promote active forms of mobility as a part of daily transportation and their impact on shaping public spaces, quality of life, and residents' safety. We publish promotional materials and publications.
Promotion and education
We specialize in developing strategic documents such as BYPAD and SUMP, organizing international study trips and conferences and comprehensive multimedia production. We provide access to a wide network of consultants and experts.
Expert services
We support local governments within international project consortia in the process of identifying projects and foreign partners, applying for funding, and implementing projects. We initiate and execute non-structural projects co-financed by EU funds.
EU Projects
The certification was introduced by the European Cyclists’ Federation to establish a European standard for employers who support cycling as a means of commuting to work. The Polish Union of Active Mobility and the City of Gdansk form a consortium authorized to grant certifications in Poland.
The world's largest cycling conference – Velo-city – will take place in Gdansk from June 10-13, 2025. The Polish Union of Active Mobility is a co-organizer and supports the initiative to host the event in Gdansk.
